APU Talent Hired from Rival

MADISON, WIIdle Free Systems, Inc., hired auxiliary power unit (APU) product support specialist, Patrick (Pat) Fleishauer, as national director of field services for its North American APU distributor network.

“Today more than ever, fleets are looking for measurable business advantages,” Fleishauer said. “My mandate is to enhance the customer experience in such a way that it makes a tangible difference and plays an integral part in the continued growth of Idle Free Systems as a leading electric APU provider in the market.”

Idle Free Systems manufactures electric idle elimination solutions for the trucking industry. Fleishauer will work with all the Idle Free sales and service partners that support the demand for idle elimination systems on the market.

Before joining Idle Free, Fleishauer worked with the United States Air Forces for 20 years, focusing on customer service, then for Glacier Bay Technology as director of product support.

Most recently, he was director of field services for Crosspoint Solutions Group, a rival company.

“Pat’s expertise, professionalism and natural proclivity for building strong relationships will significantly enhance the support we can provide to our dealers and fleet customers,” said Robert Hopton, CEO, Idle Free Systems.
