SOUTH PORTLAND, Me.-- Wright Express Corp., a leading provider of payment processing and information management services to the U.S. and Canadian fleets, announced that it has signed an acceptance agreement to enable customers to use their Wright Express Fleet Card at all Imperial Oil's Esso locations throughout Canada.
IOL is the first Canadian fuel merchant to accept the Wright Express card in Canada.
Esso, with one of the largest network of service stations in Canada, joins the more than 180,000 North American retail fuel and vehicle maintenance locations in the Wright Express network.
The agreement provides Wright Express with broader acceptance in Canada.
"This agreement represents a significant step in our plan to meet the needs of fleet customers who need to purchase fuel in Canada and have access to detailed level III data," said Michael Dubyak, president and CEO of Wright Express.
