LANGLEY,B.C. -- Canada's largest onsite refuelling company has taken a significant step towards cleaning up the industry's public image.
Not only has 4Refuel Inc. embraced biodiesel, but president Jack Lee also announced recently that the company has appointed Ken Fryer to a very lofty position: "Director of Clean Air Solutions."
"Ken is a leading expert in biodiesel," explained Lee. "He is the only Canadian qualified to certify biodiesel producers and marketers for the highest level of quality, BQ9000. And he is one of only 10 BQ9000 auditors in the world."
Fryer pioneered the introduction of biodiesel to the British Columbia marketplace when he served as fleet manager for the City of Richmond. He is a prominent speaker at conferences for alternative fuels and a regular guest at industry and association meetings on biodiesel.
"At 4Refuel, Ken will focus on product and systems quality for 4Refuel's rapidly-growing base of government and corporate biodiesel clients. His product knowledge and expertise will fast-track 4Refuel's national biodiesel plans in areas of infrastructure, supply and distribution as well as training and educating staff and clients," concludes Lee.
4Refuel has created some of the world's most powerful fuel management technology, the company says. Automated systems merge fuel consumption reports with engine performance data. The resulting reports enable clients to see exactly where they're wasting fuel and causing excessive emissions. They can see how long their vehicles spend idling, speeding or jack-rabbit starting, the company says.
