OTTAWA -- Eaton Corporation and Roadranger have announced that remanufactured Fuller FRLO Series 10-speed heavy-duty transmissions are now part of the suite of reman transmissions offered in Canada.
Like all Fuller Reman transmissions, the new model features genuine Fuller components and is available for the first time at all Canadian original equipment manufacturer (OEM) dealerships.
"In addition to the new model availability, price reductions on Fuller 18-speed manual remanufactured models have also been implemented throughout Canada," explained Dyanne Richards, Roadranger parts manager for Canada.
All Fuller Reman transmissions are certified to Eaton specifications and come with a minimum one-year, unlimited mileage warranty for parts and labor that is fully transferable and accepted throughout the U.S. and Canada. All of the transmissions are assembled and performance tested at the Eaton Reman Center in Ottawa.
Availability in Canada now includes: Five 6-speed models: FS-5306A, FS-6306A, FS-6406A, FSO-8406A, and FS-5406A; Two 10-speed models: FRLO-16410C and FRLOF-16410C; and Two 18-speed series: RTLO-16718B/18718B and RTLO-16918B/18918B/20918B.
Richards added that Eaton has also increased its warranty coverage in Canada on 13- and 18-speed Performance Model transmissions from 12 months to 18 months, and covers remove and replace labor on approved warranty repairs.
"These models are especially popular in Canada," said Richards. "All Fuller Reman transmissions incorporate the latest engineering upgrades, including long-life synchronizers, enhanced seals and shift bar housings."
Fuller Reman transmissions are available through any OEM dealer in Canada. Popular units are usually stocked at the dealer, with next day delivery available on orders placed by the dealer through seven logistic centers. Like all Eaton and Dana truck components, Fuller Reman transmissions are backed by the Roadranger service support organization.
