WASHINGTON -- The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has extended the HOS comment period by several days to March 4 from February 28.
The additional time is to allow for review of addition documentation recently submitted to the public document.
At the urging of the American Trucking Associations, FMCSA has placed three additional documents concerning hours of service (HOS) in the public docket, including more information on the Cumulative Fatigue Function in a study the agency used to support changes to the HOS rule.
