TORONTO – Is there a driver in your fleet deserving of some praise for heroic actions on the road?
Why not nominate him or her for the Bridgestone Ontario Trucking Association Truck Hero Award.
Carriers are encouraged to nominate drivers who deserve to be recognized because of courageousness, quick thinking and integrity in the face of an emergency.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must be Canadian truck drivers, employed full-time by an Ontario-based trucking company. The incident to be recognized must have taken place in North America between January 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. All nominations are due by September 30, 2011.
The Bridgestone Ontario Trucking Association Truck Hero Award will be presented at OTA’s convention in Toronto this November.
