WINNIPEG -- The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) has announced the renewal of the "GrEEEn" (Economically and Environmentally Efficient) Trucking incentive program.
The program, a partnership between the MTA, Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (MIT), and the University of Manitoba Transport Institute (UMTI), offers incentives to companies and owner-operators that install technological improvements.
A minimum investment of $1,500 in new technologies is required to be eligible for the rebates, which range from 15 percent to 25 percent of the company's capital investment.
The deadline to apply is December 16th, 2011 and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
For more information you can check out the GrEEEn website or contact the MTA for more information.
