TransForce Moves to Acquire Quik X

Transforce announced today that is has entered into an agreement to acquire all the shares of Quik X Transportation.

"Quik X is well known for providing high-quality service through leading-edge technology," said Alain Bédard, chairman, president and CEO of TransForce.

Bédard said that the move meets their objective of being an asset-light business model, while increasing their density in the niche expedited LTL market — which Quik X has built a reputation on.

"More importantly," said Bédard "the transaction will be immediately accretive to TransForce earnings and should provide a solid return on our investment for shareholders, as we remain committed to our disciplined industry consolidation strategy."

Quikx drivers are hoping and praying that TransForce will treat us well. All Quikx drivers are all temporary workers, no matter how long you have been with Quikx.

I see Transforce Keeps buying up the Trucking Companies. Now I just hope after they have eliminated the competition they will pay better Rates to the owner Operators and driver employees. Gord Currie http:\\gordcurrie.shawwebspace.ca I am looking for work but can't find any that will pay me $25 per Hour on a regular basis. That is what aTruck Driver these days should be getting at minimum.
