ATS Solutions Rebrands to TForce

SAINT-LAURENT, QC — TransForce’s ATS Solutions trucks are still on the road, but the next-day service courier is rebranding to TForce Integrated Solutions.

“The ATS brand has served us well over the past 22 years however to better align ourselves with the parent corporation, we have chosen to rebrand to TForce Integrated Solutions,” says Ford Schweitzer, VP of TForce Integrated Solutions. “We feel the new name will more adequately reflect the true vision of our company as we continue to provide integrated solutions to the markets we serve.”

Schweitzer says that aside from the name, contracts, service and management will remain the same.

Over the next few months, www.atssolutions.ca will transition to www.tforce-solutions.com.

In 2009, Transforce acquired the Retail Solutions Division of ATS Andlauer Transportation Services, based in Etobicoke, ON. The division has about $120 million in revenues, is driven mostly by a group of 165 owner-operators and employs about 500 people.

ATS’ Retail business is a major player in Canada’s household goods and home entertainment hauling sector and is responsible for transporting newly released DVD movies, music CDs and books to major retailers of those products.
