Best Fleets leads to better surveys

MARKHAM, ON – Provider of online safety and compliance training tools, CarriersEdge has introduced a customizable driver survey that can give fleets insight into company performance and driver satisfaction.

“Every year when we produce the Best Fleets to Drive For program with the Truckload Carriers Association we survey thousands of drivers, collecting feedback on what they like and don’t like about their companies,” says Jane Jazrawy, Chief Executive Officer. “Smarter fleets use those results internally in their decision-making processes and the most successful fleets are companies that regularly poll drivers for feedback on various aspects of the job.”

Now CarriersEdge customers can create and customize multiple surveys of their own, and supply drivers with a chance to submit comments as well. Carriers can assign surveys to all drivers, or assign surveys to a specific group or division. Access limits can be set for the surveys and carriers will be able to choose whether the surveys are anonymous or named. In addition, result reports can be viewed in an overall view or by individual responses with multiple filter options.

Carriers will also be able to select from survey templates, some of which were based on concepts collected through the Best Fleet to Drive For program. The template subjects include employee engagement, driver exit and shipping ratings.

For example, the shipper rating survey gives carriers the ability to ask a driver to rate a load or experience briefly after completing a delivery.

“Our customers now have the power to use the same questionnaire we use in the Best Fleets To Drive For program or to create their own surveys about company-specific initiatives as often as they’d like,” Jazrawy says.
