Big prizes for big truck races

BLOOMING PRAIRIE, MN – The racers of big trucks will have a chance to earn big prizes this year, with $50,000 in prize money available during every race in the inaugural Bandit Big Rig Series. The season’s first race is scheduled for March 25 at the Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton, North Carolina.

The series represents a return of circle track truck racing to the short track, and will pay $10,000 to the winners of feature event races. Everyone from first to 25th will earn cash.

“This is the grassroots of the trucking industry — it’s intense, fun and a chance to get in front of the next generation of our industry,” said Craig Kruckeberg, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Visionary Officer of Minimizer, which is sponsoring the races.

The first season will focus on the eastern and central United States, although there are plans to expand westward by 2019.

The race schedule and track locations can be found at www.banditseries.com/schedule.
