MISSISSAUGA — For the second year in a row, Walmart Canada has awarded Bison Transport Overall Store Delivery Carrier of the Year.
The award was presented at the annual Walmart Canada Carrier Awards banquet held in Mississauga earlier this week, and is judged on customer service, on-time performance, commitment to excellence, and innovative approach.
And Bison's on-time performance for Walmart Canada in 2012 was over 99 percent. Bison moved general merchandise, groceries and persishable food items for Walmart, successfully delivering 50,000 shipments.
“It is such an honour to be recognized by our longstanding partner Walmart Canada," said Steve Zokvic, vice president of Central Operations for Bison Transport. "This award is shared amongst the many individuals at Bison who take pride in doing the right things to service Walmart and all our other clients."
Bison Transport was the only carrier to be nominated in all trucking award categories.
