Bison Transport, Paramount Freight Best Fleets to Drive For

GRAPEVINE, TX —Bison Transport of Winnipeg, MB and Paramount Freight System of Florida snatched the Truckload Carriers Association’s 2014 Best Overall Fleet to Drive for award, in the company drivers and owner operators categories. 

TCA announced the winners on March 25 at their annual meeting.

The award is based on company driver or owner-operator nominations. Nominated fleets must complete a corporate questionnaire that collect information about programs the companies are involved in. There’s also a corporate interview and a selection of drivers and owner-operators is surveyed about their experiences with the nominated fleet.

Among the 20 top-ranked fleets this year were:

  • D.J. Knoll Transport, Emerald Park, SK;
  • Kriska Holdings, Prescott, ON;
  • TimeLine Logistics International, Saskatoon, SK;
  • TransPro Freight Systems, Milton, ON;
  • Trimac Transportation, Calgary, AB;
  • Central Oregon Trucking, Redmond, OR;
  • Fremont Contract Carriers, Fremont, NE;
  • FTC Transportation, Oklahoma City, OK;
  • Gordon Trucking, Pacific, WA;
  • Grammer Industries, Grammer, IN;
  • Grand Island Express, Grand Island, NE;
  • Halvor Lines, Superior, WI;
  • Landstar System, Jacksonville, FL;
  • Load One, Taylor, MI;
  • Motor Carrier Services, Northwood, OH;
