Britannia Fleet Services Appoints New VP

MISSISSAUGA — Britannia Fleet Services (BFS), which provides truck and trailer repairs, has appointed David Rigg as VP and general manager.

Rigg brings 30 years of industry experience to his new role. He began his career as a driver and worked his way up the ranks for various Canadian trucking and logistics companies. He later started his own company and serviced a number of Fortune-500 customers over a 15-year period.

John O’Dwyer, president of parent-company O’Dwyer Group, commented: “As a former customer and business owner, David has an innate understanding of the industry, and more importantly, of the customer and his challenges and needs. We’re delighted to have a person of his caliber join our team.”

In his new role, Rigg will oversee the business development and management of Britannia’s full product and service offerings for customers throughout Ontario and Eastern Canada.

“The O’Dwyer Group has always been there for me, and I have always admired their top-notch service when it came to servicing my equipment and supporting my business.” Rigg said. “So when they offered me this opportunity to grow with them, it was not a hard decision to make.”
