Canada Cartage Wins Carrier of the Year Award from Coca-Cola

ATLANTA, GA — Canadian carrier Canada Cartage, which specializes in fleet outsourcing, is the first-ever recipient of Coca-Cola’s Canadian Carrier of the Year award.

Coca-Cola Canada’s Transport Planning Manager Mario Di Rocco congratulated Canada Cartage at Coke’s annual carrier conference in Atlanta Georgia.

“Canada Cartage won out over other carriers because of their flexibility, capacity and ability to respond to load demands,” he said. “[They] achieved high scores in each of the major categories.”

Canada Cartage earned perfect scores of 10 in categories such as customer service, cost efficiency, tender acceptance, and on-time percentage. The carrier also achieved an on-time delivery record of 100 percent, Di Rocco said.

Canada Cartage celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. What started out in 1914 as a one man, one horse and buggy business has now expanded into an operation with 4,000 trucks and 3,600 employees coast to coast and over a billion dollars in annual revenues.

Canada Cartage is the 6th largest for-hire carrier in Canada, according to the Today’s Trucking Top 100 list.  It is outsized by Bison, Day&Ross, TransX, The Mullen Group and TransForce.

They serve customers such as Canadian Tire, Loblaw, Shoppers Drug Mart, Maple Leaf Foods, LCBO, Coca-Cola and others.
