Carrier Heads Up Morneau’s HR

François-Nicolas Carrier

QUEBEC CITY – François-Nicolas Carrier is the new Director of Human Resourcesfor Groupe Morneau.

Carrier will help develop Morneau’s HR structure, participate in establishing HR function objectives, and support Groupe Morneau’s transition as it accesses new markets.

Carrier graduated from Laval University in industrial relations and started his career as a human-resources consultant in 1999 with Eskimo Express, which is now owned by Groupe Morneau.

He then joined Compagnie minière Québec Cartier, a mining company located in Port-Cartier and Fermont, and most recently, he worked at the Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC), which is owned by Rio Tinto.

For more than 70  years, Groupe Morneau has been trucking across Quebec, Canada and internationally. The group is made up of divisions including Transport Morneau, Eskimo Express, Groupe Réflexion, Solution Morneau and Transport Sego, all of which enable the firm to boast the largest network of terminals (21) in Quebec.

A family enterprise, the company is strongly tied to its Lower St. Lawrence roots where it maintains its administrative head office.
