Cavalier inks interline deal with U.S. fleet

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Family owned LTL carriers Cavalier Transportation of Mississauga, Ont. and Tennessee-based Milan Express have formed a cross-border partnership.

According to a press release, the agreement provides a premium transborder service between key U.S. States and the Ontario-Quebec corridor, including overnight LTL service between Chicago and the greater Toronto area.

The companies will also offer truckload, expedited, warehousing and logistics to their respective customers.

Additionally, the joint gateway in Chicago allows Cavalier customers to benefit from Milan’s extensive service network in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas.

"With a predominantly company owned fleet and extensive terminal network, shipments from 1 skid to 24 skids are handled with ease and professionalism," states the press release.
