Celadon Named Gold Carrier of the Year

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Celadon Trucking Services won the Gold Carrier of the Year award from home improvement retailer Lowe’s Companies.

To achieve gold status, carriers must have over 98 percent on-time performance, shipment status compliance and freight acceptance.  Lowe’s also looks at customer service and value-added supply chain solutions provided by carriers.

“We look at customer service as part of our DNA, which is to treat each and every customer the way we would want to be treated. This recognition further strengthens our commitment to providing all customers an exceptional service experience each and every time,” said Paul Will, Celadon’s  president and CEO.

Celadon had achieved gold status for the second year in a row.

The award was presented at the 2014 Lowe’s Annual Global Transportation Conference in Wilkesboro, North Carolina in late March.
