MONTREAL, QC – Crevier Group, an industrial lubricants distributor, has acquired Laval-based LPS Kenbec, which distributes lubricants and lubrication equipment.

Pierre Geoffroy launched LPS Kenbec in 2002 after holding roles with Kendall and Sunoco. The company had distribution rights for Zeeline, Kendall, Kenlube, Sunoco and Phillips 66 in Quebec.

This is Crevier Group’s fifth acquisitions in five years.

“This transaction is the logical continuation of our Canada-wide growth plan, which was launched in 2012. We are also open to new acquisitions in Canada that will consolidate our leadership and improve the services we provide to our customers,” says Jean François Crevier, president of the business that carries its name.

Crevier Group distributes oil to about 200 service stations and also has wholesale and aviation fuel divisions. It says it has more than 3,000 customers in seven provinces.
