Deeper data from Help Inc.

Help Inc. — which is behind the PrePass system that allows precleared trucks to bypass scales — is giving participating fleets the opportunity to tap into more detailed inspection data than ever before.

The new InfoRM system pulls data from about 100 sources including U.S. Department of Transportation Safety and Fitness Electronic Records (SAFER), IRP and IFTA, drills into Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Inspection Selection System (ISS) scores, and identifies the challenges that emerge at a state, highway, or even an individual weigh station.

“There’s generally not a lack of data with the carriers we work with,” says Drew Anderson, product manager of InfoRM. “It’s, ‘What do I do with it? How can I get my hands on it?”

Users can isolate several data sets to see exactly where Out of Service violations are emerging.

Depending on the data available on inspection reports, the details don’t even be limited to PrePass inspection stations.

A full rollout of the system is expected in the first quarter of 2017.
