Dwight Yochim
VERNON, BC — Dwight Yochim is the new executive director of the British Columbia Truck Loggers Association. He started on September 1 and he replaced Dave Lewis, who retired after five years with the organization.
Before joining the Truck Loggers, Yochim was National Director with the U.S. WoodWorks program where he led a dedicated team of engineers, architects and others promoting the virtues of wood.
Prior to that he was the Director of Professional Practice and Forest Stewardship with the Association of B.C. Forest Professionals and before joining the association, Yochim was the provincial coordinator through the University of British Columbia for the B.C. Forestry Continuing Studies Network.
He is a RPF who practiced forestry in Greater Vancouver’s watersheds and is a volunteer search and rescue manager with Coquitlam Search and Rescue.
