East Coast International Trucks Changes Ownership

David Lockhart, General Manager of East Coast International Trucks.

DARTMOUTH, NS— Atlantic Canada International truck dealership, East Coast International Trucks (ECI), has switched ownership.

The dealership’s new owner, David Lockhart has over 16 years of experience in the truck OEM business market and is planning some changes for the dealership.

Lockhart is kick starting a new look and customer-focused value system for ECI where, “mutual success is mandatory.”

ECI currently has four full-service dealerships offering support for all International and Cummins products in Moncton, Dartmouth, Saint John and Truro, but Lockhart wants to expand ECI’s team.

Lockhart got into the industry in 1997 when he bought Provincial Western Star, followed by Evangeline Truck assets in 2001, forming Lockhart Truck Centre. He sold the dealership before joining ECI.
