Eaton Expands Reman Line

Eaton has enhanced its aftermarket lineup of FLEX Reman transmissions with the recent  introduction of 12 new part numbers, each with forward shift-bar housings that complement the existing standard shift-bar housing transmission offerings.

Eaton has expanded the FLEX reman transmission lineThe company also added the RTO 16908LL 10-speed model, which is popular in a variety of on/off-highway vocational applications.

As well, the FLEX program also now includes the implementation of a new delivery policy that can provide same-day shipments.

The additional models are offered for all makes and models of trucks in North America. They became available July 1. Effective earlier this year, all FLEX Reman orders received by 2 p.m. local time are shipped that day from one of Eaton’s 16 logistics centers in the U.S.

Because these transmissions cover a wide range of torques and are shipped with no clutch housings, truck dealers are able to lower their parts inventories and still increase the availability of multiple remanufactured transmission models, says Eaton. Fleets also benefit with enhanced access to the many reman models.

The reman units, with standard or forward shift housings, are available for a variety of the most popular Eaton transmissions including the FR 10-speed and RTLO 13- and 18-speed models. All are made with 100% genuine Eaton components and carry a two-year/unlimited-miles base warranty. Extended protection plans are also available.
