Fast Four-Post Lift

Forward Lift’s new CR Series four-post vehicle lifts are designed to help heavy-duty service facilities by way of faster rise times and more user-friendly features for improved productivity. As well, they have fewer moving parts for reduced maintenance versus traditional heavy-duty four-post lifts.

Forward Lift's new CR Series four-post vehicle liftsThe series offers a new twist on the traditional four-post design, the company says: all four posts are identical, and each has its own battery-powered hydraulic cylinder. This offers several operational and maintenance advantages over single-cylinder models.

Since each CR Series post has its own hydraulic cylinder, there are no cables, chains, or sheaves under the runways to lubricate and maintain. The four cylinders are all inverted, so their chrome piston rods remain protected from debris and damage, even in the up position.

Identical posts mean that a CR Series lift can be operated from any corner of the bay for maximum convenience. Each post features a patented control system with an intuitive, easy-to-use graphic layout of the lift and real-time height reading. The lifts can be configured for pre-programmed lifting cycles, enabling users to turn on the control panels and raise the lift to its desired height quickly.

To minimize installation costs, CR Series lifts are anchored to the shop floor with four easy-to-install wedge anchors at each post. No site preparation or excavation is needed. There is also no need to run expensive 220V wiring during installation, since the battery-powered lifts’ onboard chargers require only a standard 110V electrical connection.

A CR Series lift’s batteries are able to raise a vehicle 78 in. in just 65 seconds, the company says, which is higher and faster than a traditional four-post lift. CR Series lifts are also fully functional when the power goes out, so a vehicle will never be stranded up on the lift.

The 50,000-lb-capacity CR50 and 60,000-lb CR60 models are each available with runway lengths of 28 or 33 ft to fit the needs of most facilities. Optional accessories include 25,000-lb-capacity rolling-bridge jacks for wheels-free work, high-efficiency work lights for improved visibility, and drive-through ramps that make exiting the lift fast and easy.

All CR Series lift configurations have been third-party tested and certified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) to meet ANSI safety and performance standards.
