Former STA president passes away

REGINA — One of Saskatchewan’s most respected industry professionals passed away last week.

Harvie Walter, who served as president of the Saskatchewan Trucking Association from 1965 to 1967, lost his battle with cancer on June 27, 2008.

He leaves behind his wife, Norma, daughter Paula and her husband David Horner, his sister Eileen Fowler of Sherwood Park, Alta., and many nieces and nephews.
