Ground Broken for Complexe Transrapide

LEVIS, QC – The trucking company Groupe Transrapide held a groundbreaking ceremony last week for its commercial building project in Quebec.

Complexe Transrapide as it is known, represents an investment of $5 million for the 32,000 squre foot facility that includes 11,000 square feet to be used by Groupe Transrapide as it centralizes operations and maintenance.

“Groupe Transrapide, working in the field of transport, continues its growth in North America. The Complexe Transrapide will meet the business needs by providing loading docks, plenty of parking spaces for trailers, a maintenance garage and administrative offices on site, which is currently not the case”, said the company owner Stephan Huot.

The event was held in conjunction with National Trucking Week in order to announce the creation of new jobs for drivers, mechanics and dispatchers for Groupe Transrapide.

The complex will also help boost the economy by offering more commercial space, according to the company.

Construction is set to be compelted by mid-December
