Groupe Morneau expands into Newfoundland
QUEBEC CITY- Groupe Morneau is building a new terminal for its Morneau Sego division in Wabush, Newfoundland.
The expansion will allow Morneau Sego to offer lower-priced connections and faster deliveries, the company claims and will improve efficiencies in the Quebec and Labrador region.
“This terminal further strengthens Morneau Sego’s operational flexibility, and improves the overall service,” said Frederic Ruel, development director at Morneau Sego. “We have been serving the northern regions for years now; our clients come from a number of sectors such as mining, energy, and other related industries, including the distribution of consumer goods.”
Andre Morneau, president of Groupe Morneau, commented: “Our investments, including ones in Baie-Comeau in 2002, and Sept-Iles in 2014, confirm our intention to strengthen our presence in these regions.”
