Hamilton Transportation Club Calls for New Members
HAMILTON, ON — The Hamilton Transportation Club (HTC) is in the midst of its 89th year and is urging its members to re-up for another term while inviting new members to join.
The HTC, established in 1925, is a non-profit organization that relies on its members and sponsors for charity drives to support hospitals, colleges and universities in the Hamilton area.
The club represents all four major transportations (road, rail, port, air) and consists of key players from all four.
It has over 200 members from all parts of the area’s supply chain, including the City of Hamilton, domestic and international railways, cartage companies, transport companies, air lines, brokers, insurance companies and financial institutions.
It also serves as a central networking hub for its members to meet and work with each other within the industry, and offers educational events and seminars.
Coming up
The club is hosting its annual Lobsterfest dinner on June 20 in Stoney Creek, ON. Dinner — fresh PEI lobster and beef — is served with a side of live music and networking opportunities. All proceeds go to local Hamilton charities.
