How High Are Your Operational Costs?

ARLINGTON, VA – The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is looking for for-hire motor carriers to participate in its cost information survey and update its 2014 Operational Costs of Trucking report.

Participating carriers take an online survey covering topics such as driver pay, insurance premiums and lease or purchase payments; and must provide full-year 2014 cost-per-mile and cost-per-hour data.

ATRI will combine the survey’s results with older reports to provide seven full years of trucking cost information derived directly from fleet operations.

The information, spanning from 2008 to 2014, provides carriers with a high-level benchmarking tool and provides government agencies with real-world data for future infrastructure improvement analyses.

The results of the study will be available later this year. For-hire motor carriers can participate in ATRI’s survey online.
