ICO acquires MilCorp

HOUSTON, Tex. (Feb. 22) — Petrochemical specialist ICO Inc. has acquired MilCorp Holdings Inc. and MilCorp Industries Ltd., an Edmonton-based oilfield logistics provider.

MilCorp specializes in pipeline services, including trucking, inventory management, inspection, and internal coating. The 50-year-old company¹s clients include most of Western Canada¹s larger energy companies and drilling contractors.

Terms of the transaction were the not disclosed.

ICO produces equipment for petrochemical processing and oilfield services for the petrochemical, energy, and steel industries. It is the parent of ICO Shearer, a provider of sucker rod services and a rebuilder of pump engines located near Edmonton.
