International Diamond Logic centres on ‘plug and play’ wiring

International Truck & Engine
International Truck and Engine Corp. has introduced its new Diamond Logic Application Solution, designed to simplify truck chassis and body equipment integration for body builders, up-fitters, and end users.

International says Diamond Logic can significantly reduce vehicle downtime through the addition of factory-installed electronic interface modules. International remote power modules centralize electrical connections outside the cab, eliminating the need to route and splice wires and enabling “plug and play” installation of equipment directly into the chassis.

The company says its Diamond Logic Application Solutions represent the next step in the evolution of the electronic integration of chassis and body equipment. The electronics architecture of this system provides enhanced diagnostic capabilities and cuts down on complex wiring solutions, providing a system in which truck components can communicate and share information with each other. Applications such as utility, recovery, refuse, construction and emergency utilize this system on International 4000 and 7000 Series chassis.

The Diamond Logic system provides customer programmable options that will allow drivers maximum control of specific application requirements.
