Kenworth Opens Dealership in Northwestern Quebec

MONT-LAURIER, QCKenworth de Mont-Laurier has opened a parts and service location in Mont-Laurier, a rural area about 240 kilometers northwest of Montreal, on the Trans-Canada Highway/Quebec Route 117.

“This new location provides operators in the Hautes-Laurentides region a more convenient location to get service for their trucks,” said Luc Lefebvre, general manager of Kenworth de Mont-Laurier.

The dealership is located on a 22-acre site on Boulevard Albiny Paquette, about a mile east of Quebec Route 309. Route 117 is a provincial highway within Quebec, between Montreal and the Quebec/Ontario border and is the only direct route between southern Quebec and the Hautes-Laurentides region.

Lefebvre explained that the region has a growing economy driven by industries such as timber harvesting, mining and agriculture, with a high demand for medium and heavy-duty trucks.

“The property offers truck drivers room to maneuver and park their trucks and trailers as well as the space in the building to expand the truck dealership and add more service bays and parts warehouse space as our business grows. We will also expand our hours of operation as the business grows,” Lefebvre said.

Kenworth has a dealer network of over 345 locations in Canada and the U.S.

Kenworth de Mont-Laurier  is located in an 18,700 square-foot facility at 2076, boulevard Albiny Paquette (Quebec Route 117) and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
