KIRKLAND, WA — Kenworth Sales Company won the 2013 Kenworth Medium Duty Dealer of the Year award for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in the Seattle area.

The annual award recognizes outstanding leadership and dealership focus on growing Kenworth’s medium duty truck business, which features the Kenworth T170, T270, T370, T440 and T470 conventional, and K270 and K370 COEs.

“This award exemplifies our employees’ diligent efforts to strengthen relationships with medium duty customers by learning their needs and providing medium trucks, parts, and service to meet and exceed those needs,” said Kyle Treadway, president of Kenworth Sales Company, which operates 20 dealerships in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. “We’re proud to represent the Kenworth medium duty product in the Mountain West, and appreciate the support we receive from Kenworth and our fellow dealers.”

During 2013, Kenworth Sales Company captured market share by selling Kenworth medium duty conventional and COE to a diversified customer base, including small fleets and single operators. The dealer also added medium duty personnel, focused on medium duty product and sales training and hosted customers at special Kenworth medium duty events.
