Keystone Western Appoints New President, Curtis Now CEO

GRANDE POINTE, MB —  The trucking services provider Keystone Western has named Dave Davis as president.

Davis started with Keystone Western in early April and brings several years of managerial and leadership experience, according to the company, including previously working in senior management with Wildwood Transport and Canada Cartage.

Norm Curtis, who has served as president of Keystone since 2001 has moved into the role of CEO, where he will also develop new business opportunities and manage the company’s rolling stock.

“Keystone has been growing considerably over the past four years. The plan over the next few years is continual growth at a rate of 15% to 20%,” said Curtis. “I personally want to acquire new opportunities that will enhance our overall service offerings. I can’t do that in my current role, so I am pleased to have hired Dave as president to take over my day to day responsibilities.”

Keystone Western was started in 1990, and now provides asset-based logistics services for truckload and less-than-truckload dry van and open deck shippers throughout North America. It also provides warehousing, regional cartage, intermodal services, logistics analysis and 3PL services.
