Look! Around the corner! It’s the ExpoCam discount deadline!

 MONTREAL – – Less than a week.

That’s all the time you have left if you want the half-off early-registration discount for ExpoCam, the most important truck show in Canada this year.

If you’re not registered by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday April 6, you’ll miss the 50% discount on admissions. (Click here.)

ExpoCam kicks off Thursday, April 7, at Montreal’s Place Bonaventure and it promises to be a show to remember.

And profit from.

Among other exciting events, ExpoCam 2011 will be the coming-out party for Caterpillar’s new heavy duty truck, the Cat CT660.

But that’s only part of the excitement.

The CT660 is among more than 300 exhibits from across North America on display in the 225,000 sq ft of show space.

Organizers are expecting more than 16,000 industry professionals to tour the show and take in the three days of special activities and business opportunities.

This year, one of the more intriguing venues promises to the “Green Route” which highlights exhibitors whose products promote fuel efficiency or reduce emissions. Prominent for the first time this year will be the competing producers of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), the urea-based additive that has become an integral part of the emissions system on most post 2010 engines.

Here are some of the other highlights:

ExpoCam will feature a series of seminars on subjects with a direct impact on the Quebec trucking industry. All seminars are free with your show badge.

Also, at noon on Saturday, you can meet one of Canada’s top truck drivers, when he or she is crowned Highwaystar of the Year. The winner will be showered with praise and about $15,000 in cash and prize, at the Freightliner booth (Number 4751).

You can win, too.

Five lucky visitors will receive an Apple 64G iPad. Four of the iPads are sponsored by Newcom Business Media; the fifth is sponsored by Navistar.

Finally, don’t forget to drop by Booth 4000 to meet the staff from www.todaystrucking.com, Transport Routier, Highwaystar, Today’s Trucking and Truck and Trailer magazines. Bring your questions, compliments, story ideas, critiques or comments about this and future shows.

See you there.

ExpoCam is operated by Newcom Business Media, the same company that produces www.todaystrucking.com.
