Maintenance software for smaller fleets

TMW has unveiled a new maintenance management software package for fleets that manage up to 150 pieces of equipment.

FleetCheck comes in two separate versions – one for those that outsource work to dealers and independent shops, and another for those that have small fleet shops of their own.

“A lot of small fleets, they would manage the information on spreadsheets,” says Scott Vanselous, executive vice president for TMW Systems, and general manager for asset maintenance solutions.

Fleets that outsource their maintenance can use the tool to manage preventive maintenance schedules, fuel use and warranty coverage, while those that operate their own shops can use it to track labor and parts inventories. From there, reports offer insights into procurement, technician performance, vendor pricing and other costs. It even helps to ensure Department of Transportation registrations are renewed on time and that inspections are completed on schedule.

No separate hardware is required. FleetCheck is delivered as ‘software as a service’ over the web.

Support includes online training and video tutorials.

A non-shop solution can roll out in less than a week, while one that supports an in-house shop can take two weeks. During that time, fleets enter unit and asset information, and configure the software they way they want it to run.

Pricing is offered in three tiers for 50-, 100- and 150-vehicle fleets. Add-on modules are also available.
