Mullen Trucking President To Retire

OKOTOKS, AB — Mullen Group President and Co-CEO Stephen H. Lockwood plans to resign as an officer, effective June 30, the company announced.

Lockwood led Mullen Group since September 2004. Murray K. Mullen, chairman and co-CEO, will take on the role of President while Lockwood will continue as a director of the company.

“The past 10 years I have spent at Mullen Group have been very rewarding and fulfilling,” Lockwood said. “I am proud of our accomplishments over these 10 years and would like to thank the Mullen team for their dedication and efforts in creating a best in class organization.”

Mullen commented: “It goes without saying that Steve has been an integral part of this organization for many years.

Mullen Group’s trucking and logistics segment is made up of 10 companies and does business in Canada, the continental United States and Mexico by offering a range of truckload and less than truckload services under such names of Mullen Trucking, Cascade Carriers, Grimshaw Trucking, the Hi-way 9 Group of Companies and others.
