National Truck League Opens New Location

MISSISSAUGA,Ont. — If the mayor is there, you know it’s a big deal.

Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion was on hand this past Saturday to officially open National Truck League (NTL) Insurance Solutions’ new office.

The day marked a big step forward for NTL. "We’ve got a large client base of truckers," NTL president Rod Stiller told todaystrucking.com, "many of them owner-operators, and trucking companies, and we’re talking to them all the time. They are saying that they would like to handle their insurance with one company — so today we are introducing home and automobile solutions."

NTL Office Manager Jas Sahota, Mayor Hazel McCallion, and NTL President Rod Stiller.

Stiller also noted that the new office represents NTL reaching out to the South-Asian community, a large portion of their customer base.

"We’ve brought some new people in with insurance skills and new language skills who can service and understand that culture better."

Everyone was treated to a tasty South-Asian style brunch, and if you brought a non-perishable food item for the Malton Mississauga East Food Bank, you were entered into a draw for a prize.

Three NTL employee’s will be running the new office to start, along with three other people in the GTA who will be working from home.

If you would like more information on NTL and the services they offer, check them out here. Or better yet, drop into the new office (they are really, really nice people.).
