TORONTO — TransCore Link Logistics released a new freight matching system, Linkdispatch, which allows users to manage their business from end to end and can automatically transfer entries to Loadlink. Unlike the United States market where integration is more widespread, this is the first integration of its kind for Canadian trucking companies.
Loadlink is a system by which companies get information about available freight and equipment.
“This enhancement is a competitive advantage for our customers. There’s no more re-keying information from one system to another, streamlining the entire freight management process by completing Loadlink postings with one click,” said Claudia Milicevic, the company’s general manager. “This provides one system that does everything from initial quote to eliminating empty backhauls.”
Linkdispatch also has a built-in invoicing system that allows users pay drivers, invoice clients, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and has multiple currency options, among other things. Users can also download customer details from Loadlink into Linkdispatch and post in either freight matching systems.
