New look and vision for Fleet Engineers

Fleet Engineers new logoLAS VEGAS, NV – Fleet Engineers, Inc. has unveiled a new logo and an ambitious corporate vision to expand its offerings to the heavy duty aftermarket.

Its newly redesigned logo was hard to miss at this year’s Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, held at the Mirage in Las Vegas… and company president and CEO Wes Eklund said that’s just the beginning of the changes.

“We expect a period of rapid growth that will more than double the size of the company in the next five years,” said Eklund. “We’re going to be much more visible.”

Part of that will be through a new association with Freightliner’s Team Run Smart Pro and fuel-efficiency pioneer Henry Albert, owner of Albert Transportation.

The Muskegan, Mich.-based maker of trailer doors, spray control systems, and aerodynamic solutions, and truck and trailer accessories is taking “a grassroots approach” to researching and developing new products.

Henry Albert“Working with Henry and Freightliner’s Team Run Smart on this initiative is a great fit for us,” said Fleet Engineers vice president of marketing and sales Ken Griswold.

“Truckers and fleets provide access to crucial user feedback that often gets overlooked in the product development process. By connecting directly with Team Run Smart and tapping into the community of truckers that continues to grow around the initiatives Freightliner is supporting, we hope to leverage that feedback and turn it into products that help our customers improve their bottom line,” said Griswold.

Fuel-efficiency obsessed driver Henry Albert said he hopes Fleet Engineers’ new products will help him get to his next performance milestone.

“I have achieved an average of 9.995 miles to the gallon for an entire quarter,” he said. “My next goal is to make it across the country in double-digits and go a full quarter at better than 10 miles to the gallons.
