New VorMax fuel filter from WEBB

WEBB has introduced its new, patented VorMax fuel filtration system with cyclonic filter technology.

VorMax’s patented cyclonic filter design has been tested by independent laboratories and found to extend traditional spin-on filter life by as much as four times, the company says, adding that the target was achieved by removing up to 97% of water and contaminates from the fuel prior to it reaching the secondary filter, which is a standard spin-on filter.

VorMax also features a unique filter restriction indicator that provides positive, accurate pressure differential readings allowing maintenance technicians to know exactly what the remaining life of the fuel filter is-eliminating the pre-mature disposal of fuel filters caused by misinterpreting fuel levels in the filter domes of many conventional fuel filters, the company says.

The VorMax comes with the filter restriction indicator mounted on the filter manifold but, it can also be mounted in the cab using the optional cab mount kit. Like WEBB’s other fuel fitters, the VorMax utilizes an internal thermostat to regulate fuel temperature using its integral fuel heating system located in the filter manifold. If desired, an optional pre-heater can be ordered in 12V, 120V or both.
