REGINA -- Custom Truck Sales in Regina was named 2007 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the U.S. and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in San Diego.

Custom Truck Sales was chosen as Kenworth Dealer of the Year from among Kenworth’s six Gold Award winners for 2007.

“We’re very honored to be chosen for this prestigious award from among the many outstanding Kenworth dealerships. This recognition is a great testament to the hard work of our dedicated employees, who provide a high level of service to customers on a daily basis,” said Brent Leach, president of Custom Truck Sales. “I truly believe that Kenworth offers the World’s Best products and it’s a pleasure to sell the best to our customers.”

The other Gold Award winners for 2007 are: Edmonton Kenworth, Inland Kenworth – U.S. (California, Arizona and New Mexico), Kenworth of South Texas, Kenworth Sales Company (Salt Lake City), and MHC Kenworth (Oklahoma).

“Custom Truck Sales had an excellent year in 2007 by selling the entire Kenworth heavy and medium duty truck product line and providing excellent customer support,” said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice-president. “Custom Truck Sales management and employees have a tremendous passion and dedication for being The World’s Best and are truly deserving of the 2007 Kenworth Dealer of the Year award.”

Custom Truck Sales has been a Kenworth dealer since 1965 and operates dealerships in Regina, Saskatoon, Estevan, Sask., and Winnipeg. The dealer isn’t new to the awards podium, winning silver awards in 2003, 2005 and 2006.

During the dealer meeting, Kenworth also honored its 14 Silver Award winners for 2007, which included a couple more Canadian outfits: Inland Kenworth – Canada and Kenworth Toronto.
