FROM THE NEWS DESK...

The big news last week came out of a ruling by an Ontario Justice of the Peace who found that Ontario's speed limiter law violates a section of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. While the ruling itself is not enough to overturn the law, if the MTO decides to appeal the case would go a higher level of court. In the meantime, parties on both sides of the debate have weighed in on what the ruling means.

In other news, Shell and Travel Centres of America have partnered to bring a reported 200 LNG lanes throughout the U.S.

Plus, Today's Trucking was awarded the title of "Best Trade Magazine in Canada" by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors.
