PRODUCT WATCH

EOBR, HOSES, & THE CLOUD

May 30, 2012

A light week but still some interesting software from Aljex and Descartes, a new line of value-priced air-hose assemblies from the ever expanding aftermarket portfolio at Alliance Truck Parts, and news from Pacbrake of a coming engine brake for the Ram HD pickup.

At the top of our list this time out is an improved in-cab EOBR device from Rand McNally that does quite a lot while not costing the earth. We may not have an EOBR mandate yet, and there are many who don't ever want to see it, but the TND 760 seems like a tool that's worth a look anyway.

The products discussed here in the Product Watch e-newsletter have not been tested by Today's Trucking staff in most cases, and they do not carry our endorsement. We're simply reporting.
