ENGINE PARTS BACK TO 1949

July 11, 2012

Things are quiet here in the heart of summer, but FP Diesel -- a Federal-Mogul brand -- has a new aftermarket catalog offering parts for International engines going as far back as 1949. Guess that's for folks with long trade cycles.

As well...

Meritor has addede an oil-bath wheel seal to its all-makes wheel-end aftermarket line;

Isuzu has a new process that will enable Isuzu dealers to convert or modify gasoline-powered NPR-HD trucks for their customers much faster;

The Rugby Eliminator dump body is available with a crossmemberless understructure to fight corrosion;

And FleetSafer Mobile has a way to stop cellular phone use in moving vehicles. Not sure how much I like the `big brother` aspect of this, but there`s no doubting that cellphone use whiole in motion is a killer.
