IN THE NEWS...

The American Trucking Associations’ (ATA) advanced seasonally adjusted (SA) For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index saw the largest month-to-month gain in 2012  when it increased 1.2 percent in June. In other news, the Government of Manitoba is looking at increasing the amount of mandated biodiesel from 2 percent to 5, something that the Manitoba Trucking Association says needs a much closer look. Think engines and cold weather.
