Ontario Trucker Challenges Other Drivers to Lose Weight

LUCAN, ON — Truck driver Dean Nuckowski has lost 25 lbs since October and he thinks other truckers can follow suit.

Nuckowski, 39, who stands at about six-two, went from 240 to 215 and says he’s not done yet.

“This has changed my life, I tell you. It’s also changing the way I look at losing weight,” he told todaystrucking.com.

He attributes his loss to a meal-replacement product called ViSalus which is sold through multi-level marketing (MLM).

Nuckowski has replaced breakfast and lunch every day with a ViSalus “shake” which he says taste like a vanilla cake. Other than that, he hasn’t had to change his lifestyle whatsoever.

Because he is also in the business of selling the product, he says he’s making money at the same time as he’s shedding pounds.

“I’ve lost 25 lbs just sitting behind the wheel. That’s why I’m issuing this highway challenge to other drivers. If I can lose weight, anybody can.”

Before…

…and after.

ViSalus has been on the market since 2005, and Nuckowski’s younger brother lured him to the organization.

“I thought this was just another fly-by-night company that was just here to promote their product and leave but I’ve watched my brothers do this and get healthy so I figured there must be something to it.”

(While Today’s Trucking can neither endorse nor denounce the product, our researcher did a quick google search on ViSalus which yielded no negative comments.)

Nuckowski would love to hear from you and he’ll be happy to answer any questions. You can email him at dnuke@bell.blackberry.net or call him at 519 872-1134.
