Penske snags Daimler man for truck dealership biz

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI – Penske Automotive Group has named Richard Shearing president of its commercial vehicle dealership business, which it renamed Penske Commercial Vehicles, U.S.

Shearing was previously with Daimler Trucks North America as vice president of national accounts. Before that, Shearing served as Daimler’s general manager of component sales and director of product strategy.

Roger Penske, chairman of Penske Automotive Group, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Rich to the Penske Automotive Group team. His depth of knowledge and experience will strengthen our team and provide a guiding hand as we continue to build scale in the commercial vehicle business in the United States.”

Shearing will be relocating to the Penske Commercial Vehicle headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
