LAS VEGAS, NV — Peterbilt’s manufacturing facility in Denton, Texas has completed three rounds of improvements and work to expand the facility is on schedule. Operations are set to begin in January.

Recent improvements include east side dock doors to increase receiving capacity, 17,000 square feet of new material receiving area on the west side, and an automated storage and retrieval system on the second level of the building that will hold painted hoods, cabs and sleepers.

Peterbilt began constructing a new 102,000 square foot building just north of the plant this year, and that will house production and testing.

“Continuous investment and commitment to excellence keep Peterbilt’s Denton plan a manufacturing leader in quality, efficiency and productivity,” said Darrin Silver, general manager.
