WASHINGTON, D.C. — Truck stop giant Pilot Flying J announced it will donate $1.25-million over the next five years to Trucking Moves America Forward (TMFA), an initiative to improve the industry's public image.

James A. Haslam II, Pilot Flying J’s founder, commented: "Pilot Flying J anticipates expanding our popular health initiatives and Road Warrior driver engagement campaign throughout the entire industry, utilizing TMAF's wide-ranging network of professional drivers, owner-operators, technicians and more.”

Pilot Flying J’s Road Warrior program, developed to recognize drivers around North America for their professionalism, was launched at the 2014 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY.

TMAF fundraising chairman and Combined Transport Inc.’s president, Mike Card, commented: "Pilot Flying J plays a key role in reaching millions of Americans and this partnership illustrates how committed we are—as an industry—to telling trucking's positive stories."
